The Santa Barbara Police Department currently has nine sworn female Officers, five who have over 10 years of service. The female Officers currently serve as Patrol Officers, Crime Scene Investigator, Community Relations Officer, Detective, Problem Enforcement Team Officer, and Training and Recruitment Officer. There are also two sworn female Reserve Officers.
